Blondie

Hi again,
                 This sketch was done with acrylic paint and black marker and was finished in around 20 minutes, it's an experimental piece and done on a scrap piece of paper, I love working quickly sometimes and not knowing what direction a drawing is going in. I only had a limited palette and put in an orange background simply because it was all that was on hand at the time, I find these  exercises great for loosening up and getting more creative.

Pino Daeni.

No pictures today to post just wanted to add Pino Daeni as one of my favorite artists of all time, the Italian painter died this year he was in his seventies and was what you would call a romantic impressionist, another of my favorites died this year Frank Frazetta who was a comic/ book illustrator.

Hi again, 
                Charcoal is a great medium to use it's was introduced to me by my Dad when I was around 10 years old so it's always something  I'll remember and it's always been there in my work over the years.

This Charcoal drawing measures 5x7 inches,  is drawn onto  Masonite, the Masonite has had three coats of primer and  textured paste added to give it a rough feel to the touch, the image is sprayed with fixative so it does not smudge, the drawing is also framed with a nice gold frame.
