Charcoal Nude#2.


Hi again, 
                Charcoal is a great medium to use it's was introduced to me by my Dad when I was around 10 years old so it's always something  I'll remember and it's always been there in my work over the years.

This Charcoal drawing measures 5x7 inches,  is drawn onto  Masonite, the Masonite has had three coats of primer and  textured paste added to give it a rough feel to the touch, the image is sprayed with fixative so it does not smudge, the drawing is also framed with a nice gold frame.

               Welcome to my latest posting  it's called nude #1 Contemplation, Figurative work for me is the most difficult aspect of any of the work i do but the challenge of pushing yourself in your art is always at the back of my mind and has to be done or you won't improve.

Orange and grapes

Hi there,this is my first time posting a blog you could call me a virgin blogger or I have told my wife I have been blogerised,you're right she did not find it funny either but there you go.

The title of this painting is 'orange and grapes' 5x7 inches and is currently on auction on ebay.It's been a long time since I sold any paintings so it's really only the start of a long journey and hopefully as i progress with these paintings and this hobby of mine I will sell some paintings and build up a following,thanks.
